Associate Degree: Internet and Network Technologies, Sakarya University Erdem Acar has extensive experience in the field of distance education technologies and has played significant roles as an Operations Specialist at Istanbul Bilgi University Distance Education Application and Research Center. He actively contributed to the planning and execution of hybrid and online education processes. During this period, he worked on the integration and effective use of various learning management systems such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, BigBlueButton, Adobe Connect, Blackboard Collaborate, and Zoom. In addition to providing technical support to instructors, he was responsible for configuring virtual classroom platforms and transferring course content to digital environments. He also played an active role in developing interactive educational materials using tools such as H5P, Camtasia, Captivate, and Articulate.

With his expertise in LMS management, live class setups, system-focused training, and technical coordination, he has contributed to improving the quality of online learning experiences.

As of August 2025, he has been serving as a Support Specialist at the Office of Learning and Teaching (OLTE) at Özyeğin University.
