BUS 100 Course Case Study
Digital books are being integrated into the learning-teaching processes of certain courses at our university (Pearson, McGraw Hill, etc.). We would like to share with you a case study conducted in one of these courses, which explores the experiences of both students and instructors with the digital book used in the learning-teaching process.
Podcast as Pedagogy
A podcast is a digital audio or video file usually presented in a series format and available for streaming or download over the internet, covering a variety of topics such as news, entertainment, education, or storytelling. Podcasts attract attention by the pedagogical innovations they introduce to the processes of learning and teaching. Particularly with advantages such as enhancing student motivation, creating flexible learning environments, addressing different cognitive styles, improving listening skills, and contributing to students' in-depth understanding, podcasts provide students with an effective learning experience (Chen et al., 2019; Jones et al., 2021; Smith, 2020).
Visual Syllabi Update!
As OLTE, we would like to share with you the visual syllabus examples we have designed. This innovative step is intended to help you deliver your course content more effectively and efficiently. We have observed that students either do not thoroughly read the syllabus in detail or miss some crucial information, which has become a problem. As OLTE, we have developed visual syllabi in addition to traditional syllabi in order to address this issue.
Our Informal Learning Ecosystem is with You!
The expected future of the Super Smart Society highlights the need for informal learning methods. Allowing learners to have comfort in learning at their own pace, within their context, and on their own time addresses the expectations of this society.
