Respondus has two features: Respondus Lockdown Browser and Respondus Monitor. Respondus Lockdown Browser is a web browser that locks the computer screen while taking an exam on LMS to increase exam security. On the other hand, Respondus Monitor is a software program that records students’ audio/video during an exam via a webcam and microphone in order to provide fully-automated proctoring, and help maintain the integrity of the exam. Respondus can also be used with Zoom for live proctoring.
